This is 1 coat of Lush Life over Mint Candy Apple. Application was very easy; no dabbing or placing of glitters necessary!

151. Sinful Colors - Lush Life
Lush Life is a lovely glitter topcoat. It has large and small teal hex glitter in a clear base. I love this color, and I can see myself using this over a lot of colors!

133. NYX - Prismatic Gold
Hello hello! Today I have a pretty mani to show you...from a couple months ago. I think I did these nails around finals time last quarter, so this is pretty old. I would totally do this again though!
This is a a gradient of NYX Prismatic Gold on top of NYX Soft Teal. Prismatic gold is a gold glitter with small gold glitter and large hex gold glitters. They are also a touch holographic, even if the picture doesn't show it very well.
Prismatic Gold's formula was very nice. The glitter is pretty dense and I didn't have to do any dabbing or placing to get even distribution, which is always a plus.
I should have mattified this mani, it would have looked amazing! And pictures are with my lovely EOS sweet mint lip balm because I love the shape of their containers.

132. Essie - Stroke of Brilliance
This is a polish I've wanted to get my hands on for the longest time...Stroke of Brilliance. I loved Set in Stones, and when I heard there was a blurple version of it, I just HAD TO HAVE IT. Haha, yes that's how excited I was!
Stroke of Brilliance is a very dense glitter topper. There are smaller glitters and larger hex glitter. All of the glitters are a cornflower blue color, almost purple. You can see in the picture below how the glitter almost overtook my base color. I tried to do a glitter gradient, but I think it just looks like I painted all glitter on those parts.

103. Spoiled - Pet My Peacock
Pet My Peacock is a mix of gold, silver, light blue, green, and purple glitters in a clear base. I loved how the glitters looked in the bottle, but when it came to applying it, it was not so nice. The glitter is pretty sparse compared to what I was expecting it to be, and I had to use a dabbing motion to get most of the glitters on. This was not helped by the fact that the polish was quite runny, unexpected for a glitter. So I ended up with a thick gloopy layer of polish on my nails, along with air bubbles! :(
I have it here on top of Bermuda Breakaway. It quite reminds me of bubbles at the bottom of the deep sea. This is helped by the fact that there are actually bubbles in here...
I think I'm going to try to let this polish thicken by leaving the bottle open for some amount of time. Hopefully that makes it a little easier to actually get glitter on the nails, because I really don't want to purge this (it's so pretty!)

102. Spoiled - Jewelry Heist
Jewelry Heist is a predominantly mostly pink glitterbomb. Usually I don't like wearing pink, but something about this glitter just called out to me to take it home (kind of like a cute lost puppy). This polish is mostly pink and silver hex glitters, with tiny blue and green square glitters.
Here, I've layered Jewelry Heist over Color Club's Naughtycal Navy. I love how the pink perfectly compliments the dark navy base, lightening the color.
The formula on Jewelry Heist was not bad. I didn't have to use as much of a dabbing motion as I had to for Pet My Peacock. The base polish was a little thicker, probably helping to suspend the glitter a little better.

99. Fergie - Hollywood Walk of Fame
Hollywood Walk of Fame is large, multicolored star glitters in a clear base. The stars are silver, gold, blue, purple, and red. The polish also has a bit of tiny silver holographic bar glitter. This is such a fun polish on the nail, but not so fun to apply. Like Pet My Peacock, it has a very runny formula in which the glitters tend to settle. You have to fish a lot to even get a few stars, and the runny formula means that you'll just get a drop of clear on your nail instead of a star.
For this polish, I used a dabbing motion to place the stars. This is shown over Bahamian Escape.
I don't think I will be keeping this polish. I bet I could probably make a better franken (maybe). :P

73. Sinful Colors - Paris II
One day I was wandering around my local Rite-Aid's nail polish section, and I picked up this beauty. This version of Paris is a slightly sheer white base with multi-colored glitters in it.
Looking around a bit more, I see another polish by the name of Paris. Now I was awfully confused, considering that these polishes were not even remotely the same. I bought both, just for the sake of hoarding oddities. I'm assuming this gold glitter is the original version of Paris, since it was on the permanent Sinful display rack.
Both of these polishes are awesome, but so obviously different. I wonder if Sinful is planning to discontinue the gold one or something o_o

59, 60, 61. - Glitter Spam!
I'm too lazy to make multiple posts for polishes that I'm (unfortunately) going to purge, so here's a bit of spam. All of these polishes are very sparsely distributed glitters, and that just doesn't sit very well with me. These are all too sparse to be used as a layering polish or on its own. All of these swatches are three coats each; please excuse the yellow nails :X
First up is Wet N' Wild's Party of Five Glitters. I guess it's supposed to be a dupe of Deborah Lippmann's Happy Birthday, but the WNW can't even compare. It's very sparsely distributed, and the glitter tends to settle at the bottom of the bottle. No bueno. It takes a lot of dabbing to place the glitters, and the formula's a bit runny. There are larger silver, purple, and light blue hex glitters, and smaller green and red hex glitter in a cloudy, colorless base.
Next is NYC's Starry Silver Glitter. This one actually has pretty decent coverage, I just can't think of any time where I would want this many coats as a layering polish or this sparse of a glitter on its own. There are small silver holo glitters, with some larger lavender and blue hex glitters suspended in a clear base. This polish also settles a bit, but not nearly as bad as Party of Five Glitters.
Lastly, I have Confetti's Tinsel, silver holo glitter in a cloudy, colorless base. In the bottle, it looks like it would be a shiny disco ball of a party, but on the nails, it disappoints. This is disappointingly sparse, and I have so many better silver holo glitters. So into the swap bin it goes.

29. OPI - Fresh Frog of Bel Air
Happy St. Patty's everyone! Today, I'm wearing Fresh Frog of Bel Air from OPI's Muppet's collection. Fresh Frog of Bel Air looks like Slytherin in a bottle. So pretty! I was really hoping that it would look just the same on the nail as in the bottle, but sadly, it didn't. When I first saw swatches of this polish, most said they put on 2 coats to achieve a decent opacity, but I took 4 coats to reach this level of opacity, which is disappointing. And the polish is still not as opaque on the nail as it looks in the bottle. Don't get me wrong, this is still a beautiful polish, it's just that I wish it had a little more coverage.
This picture's a little more true to color, while the next one shows a little more of the glitters themselves.

This is probably best used as a layering polish. Shown is 4 coats of Fresh Frog with 2 coats of Poshe on top. Right now the polish feels smooth, but I bet this polish is a glitter eater and may need another coat of Poshe to make it completely smooth when dry.
27. Zoya - LA Pop
LA Pop is a glittery topcoat :) The particles actually might be small flakies. It's so pretty. At first, I layered it over my last mani, Zoya Pippa, and the particles looked like raindrops, kind of iridescent. After I layered it over black, WOW was there a transformation. Black makes the flakies look more blue and green, rather than goldish as it was on Pippa.
LA Pop has decent coverage; all these pictures are at one coat :)

25. China Glaze - Golden Enchantment
I topped VIII from last post with Golden Enchantment, thinking that the combination of purple and gold would look good together. And look good it did! I love Gold Enchantment because of the delicate looking gold glitters, which add a little whimsy to any color. The holo particles give the polish a little special -POP- though, and I'm really digging this look! :)
Blurry pictures to show off the holo glitter :) Beautiful!
Golden Enchantment was a little on the thick side, and glitters were a little sparse if you didn't pump the brush up and down inside the bottle a couple times. However, doing those things weren't too difficult, and the end result was definitely worth it. I can't stop looking at my nails!
